Prayer Flags - for the Earth

Earth groups	The 'Earth' groups developed from my desire to make a grouping of designs that contained both 'water' elements (such as the 'Lotus' that floats or the 'Bamboo' as it looks so lovely beside a pond) and 'grounded' designs such as the 'Tree'! The 'Peace on Earth' flag is always in the center.
Tree Groups	The 'Tree' group I have mixed the 'Snowy Owl' design with 'Tree' and 'Calligraphy of Geese' design3 groups for a group of woodland 'prayers for the earth'. There are little brass bells at the beginning, the end and between each flag.
Yoga group	3 group - prayer flags - Yoga design mix ........... The Doves design - 'Be the Peace You Wish To See In This World' The OM/Lotus design The Namaste design ............. compose the 'three prayer flag group' that speak to ownership of the possibility of peace in our personal life that will move like a wave into the whole world. In The Pale Blue Dot. by Carl Sagan is a 'meditation' on the importance of realizing our personal part in creating peace.
Garden Bird Groups	3 group - prayer flags - Garden Birds design mix Hand crafted and hand printed on natural raw silk, double sided and strung on black cord between little brass bells. Each flag measures about 5”X 5”. The cord is about 31 ” long. Story cards included. When I wake to the sweet song of small birds I often look, in my mind, down from space, from just the distance where I can see this round earth, partly in darkness, and watch the sunlight moving ever forward to the 'west', and then I 'hear' this joyful sound, at the edge of the darkness, greeting the promise of warmth and light, once again. That vision was the inspiration for this group of the 'Happy as a Bird', 'Tree', and 'Peace Doves' silk prayer flags. You can read the full 'stories' of each flag on the ' One Little Prayer' page.
Dove group	The 'Dove' group This a mix of 5 designs that Bill put together and is quite popular! It begins with the 'Peace on Earth' flag and then 'Bamboo', 'Dove', 'Blossom' and ends with the 'Tree' flag.
Birds & Bears groups	I had fun with this grouping mixing the different bird and bear designs I've created.
Lotus Bamboo groups	In this grouping the 'Lotus & Bamboo' alternate so one can see the designs in both languages.
Sea groups	This is a mix of silk prayer flags, with the 'Dancing Dragon' (good fortune), the 'Wave' (I am the sea and the sea is me) and 'Mermaid & Dolphin' (poem by Kahlil Gibran) original designs. Strung on black cord there are little brass bells between each of the prayer flags.
Kuan Yin groups	The 'Kuan Yin' group of designs are a special mix with the The 'Kuan Yin' flag in the center.as I feel her blessing our planet and it's many life forms. These designs begin and end with the 'Peace on Earth' flags.
Buddha groups	The silk prayer flag of my original Buddha includes the OM Mani Padme Hum mantra in the design. Buddha sits, like St. Francis of the garden, surrounded with birds and little tree frogs. In the three group of prayer flags it is joined with the Peace Doves on one side and on the other side the OM/Lotus designs. The five group includes the Peace on Earth - Goodwill to All design. Strung on black cord there are little brass bells between each of the prayer flags.
Buddha / Kuan-Yin	'Buddha - Kuan Yin' My favorite way to 'touch the earth' is on my knees, working in the garden. Buddha and Kuan Yin join me in my prayers for our dear little earth. These groups begin with the Buddha and end with Kuan Yin, with water and earth designs falling between. 'Story' cards about each of the designs are included.
